In order to facilitate the growing interest from the student population, our programs have expanded to a new facility in the village of Vaitogi, American Samoa. The Learning Center (TLC) is conveniently located between several school campuses and the village homes.

The goal of TLC is to foster a nurturing environment where students can develop socially, academically, and spiritually. The After School Arts Program (ASAP) will offer tutoring in computer literacy, math, science, and English, as well as life skills using a supportive and holistic approach so they can realize their fullest potential in school, at home, and in the community.

Fun-filled activities structured in a safe and drug free environment include performing arts, creative writing, and digital media. Support groups and interactive discussions about youth and social issues will be scheduled with group leaders and qualified counselors.

As we approach 2010, TLC will be conducting exciting new workshops that will gear specifically for the youth to prepare them for continuing education and the marketplace.
