Tsunami in the Samoan Islands - September 29, 2009

In
 His
 majestic
 display
 of
 beauty 
and
 power,
 we
 rest 
in
 the
 knowledge
 that
 He
 IS
 God.
 We
 do
 not
 question
 why He
 did
 what
 He
 did, 
but
 we
 worship
 Him in
 His
 Sovereignty. 
As
 the
 destructive 
waves
 flattened
 our
 beloved
 home
 at
 around
 7 
a.m.,
 you
 could
 expect the
 sounds
 of
 overwhelming
 grief.
 Yet
 it
 was
 the
 sounds
 of
 children,
 evacuated
 from
 school,
 singing
 hymns
 atop
 one
 of
 the
 mountains
 where
 their
 voices
 resonated,
 despite
 the
 pain
 and
 agony
 of
 the
 brutal 
truth 
that 
lay 
ahead.
